Event Details
The "ABC" course will give you a New York State Safe Boating Certificate good for both boats and Jet Skis and you will be in compliance with Brianna's Law. This course is the most comprehensive, single source boating course available today that provides the skills needed to enjoy your time on the water and boat safely with confidence. Taking this boating course will also reduce your risk of accidents and injuries and will save you money on boat insurance.
This course consists of two, four hour in-person classes, with a final exam given at the end of the course. You must attend both classes. This course is open to adults and teens 12 and up. Registration is required. The fee for tuition and course material is $30.00, payable by cash or check at the first class. This fee is fully reimbursable upon successful completion of the final exam for boaters living on the South Shore of LI between Massapequa and West Islip, complements of The Captree Memorial Scholarship Fund.
