Did you know that in April of 1845, the Long Island whaleship Manhattan became the first foreign ship to enter Tokyo Bay in over 200 years? Celebrate America’s enduring appreciation of Japanese culture by creating some ocean-inspired origami. Grades 6-12. Registration required.
