Get to know all about bees from local beekeeper, Jerry Raffa. Learn about the importance of bees for pollination, bee society and behavior, current threats to bee populations, and how to support and protect these important insects. Jerry will also discuss beekeeping and present tools of the beekeeping trade, including a beekeeper’s suit and a small hive (don’t worry – no bees!).
